A green, high-temperature anaerobic retaining compound for securing sleeves, studs, pins and other slip- or press-fit metal parts, and for restoring fit to worn or out-of-tolerance assemblies. It hardens when confined between close-fitting metal parts, suits diametral gaps up to 0.18 mm (0.007 in.) and is rated from -54°C to 204°C (-65°F to 400°F). For metal parts only; cured parts need heat before they will come apart.
Permatex High Temperature Sleeve Retainer is a one component, solvent-free, fast curing, anaerobic adhesive/sealant. It is a green colored liquid resin that hardens and cures in the absence of air. Permatex High Temperature Sleeve Retainer self-hardens into a tough plastic material when it is confined between close-fitting metal parts. The cured adhesive is a thermoset plastic suitable for exposure to most solvents and engine fluids. OEM Specified. Meets or exceed the requirements of Military Specification Mil-R-46082B, Type II.
