100% genuine. 100% genuine Permatex, from authorized North American distribution.

A black RTV silicone gasket maker formulated for automatic transmission pans, covers and case halves, where it resists conventional and synthetic ATF. It can be used to form a gasket or as a dressing on a cut gasket, and it is sensor-safe and low odour. Rated for continuous use from -54°C to 204°C (-65°F to 400°F); not for head gaskets or parts in contact with gasoline.

Permatex® Automatic Transmission Gasket Maker is specially formulated to ensure complete sealing when in contact with conventional and synthetic automatic transmission fluids. This specialty silicone can be used as a gasket maker or as a cut gasket sealant. Permatex Automatic Transmission RTV Sealant is a single component, room temperature, vulcanizing, gasketing compound designed to provide reliable "formed-in-place" gaskets for mechanical assemblies. This material cures on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible, silicone rubber gasket. The product resists aging, weathering and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking or cracking.
