A green, solvent-free polyurethane surface sealant from Elring that does not cure and stays permanently plastic, in a 70 mL tube. Elring rates it from -55 °C to +250 °C, and up to +270 °C for 24 hours, for sealing gaps up to 0.2 mm, and recommends it for flanges and covers that are opened and resealed often. It resists oils, greases, coolants and fuel, and Elring notes it can be easily detached.

Curil T2 is a permanently plastical, solvent-free sealing compound with excellent adhesion to sealing surfaces. As it contains no solvents, no airing time is required. Due to its thermal and chemical resistance, it is particularly suitable as a universal sealant for complicated sealing joints and applications for easy dismantling.

Sealing surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of oil or grease before applying the sealing compound in order to ensure reliable sealing and adhesion.
Apply a sealant coat at least 0.2 mm thick
Remove excess sealant with a cloth after fitting
For sealing in the field of fuel supply, we would recommend using a solid seal. Although Curil T2 and El-Liq 73 and El-Liq 74 are fuel resistant, our experience has shown that better sealing results are achieved with a solid seal compared with a sealant.
