A 100% synthetic 5W-30 for the latest Euro 4, 5 and 6 gasoline and diesel engines that call for an ACEA C3 oil, with high HTHS viscosity and mid-SAPS chemistry for catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters. It is approved for BMW LL-04, MB 229.51, Porsche C30 and VW 504 00/507 00, which covers many BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Volkswagen Group vehicles. Motul notes that outside the EU, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein, which includes Canada, BMW gasoline engines need an LL-01 oil instead of LL-04.

ATTENTION: BMW LL-04 product can be used for petrol engines only in European Union countries, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein. Outside those countries, a BMW LL-01 lubricant such as MOTUL 8100 X-cess gen2 5W-40 is required. Refer to BMW recommendations when in doubt.
Drain interval: according to manufacturers’ recommendations and tune to your own use.

Can be mixed with synthetic and mineral oils.
