A long-life coolant concentrate based on monoethylene glycol and glycerin, made for Volkswagen's G13 specification (VW TL 774-J) and backward compatible with G12++ and G12+. It is free of nitrites, amines and phosphates, suits aluminum and cast-iron engines, and ROWE lists its colour as magenta. Because of the glycerin, freeze protection has to be checked with a G13-specific refractometer; mixed 1:1 with water, ROWE rates it to -36 °C.

⚠ Safety warnings

Due to the proportion of glycerol used, the antifreeze protection can only be determined using special “G13” refractometers. The use of standard refractometers results in incorrect measurements.
Miscible and compatible with other antifreeze concentrates of the same specification. However, to fully realize the benefits of HIGHTEC ANTIFREEZE COOLANT AN 13 (USA), a complete coolant change is recommended.
