A full synthetic 0W40 motor oil blended from polyol ester and PAO base stocks, with extra ZDDP for wear control. Red Line lists it as suitable for many European applications, including VW/Audi 502.00 and 505.00, BMW LL-01, water-cooled Porsche (A40) and Mercedes-Benz 229.3 and 229.5, and says it flows better than a 5W40 or 10W40 in extreme cold. These are Red Line's suitable-replacement claims, not carmaker approvals, so check your owner's manual for what your engine requires.
