A two-part adhesive and activator kit for permanently re-attaching a rearview mirror's metal mounting button to the windshield. Permatex lists it as an OEM-specified formula approved and used by GM, Ford and Chrysler, and it reaches handling strength in seconds. It is single use, for metal buttons only (not plastic), and the repair should be done between 10°C and 24°C (50°F to 75°F).

If button is mounted incorrectly, bond another button over the original one. Solvents, heat and leverage are not recommended for removal. Repair at temperatures between 50°-75°F (10°-24°C). Not recommended for plastic buttons.
This product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen and/or oxygen rich systems and should not be selected as an adhesive for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials.
