It is API certified to ILSAC GF-7A and meets API SQ Resource Conserving, with protection against engine wear, piston and turbocharger deposits, and low speed pre-ignition. Motorcraft® SAE 5W-20 Synthetic Blend Motor Oil is manufactured with high-viscosity index, premium-quality, synthetic/hydroprocessed base oils and specially designed performance additives, which provides improved protection against engine wear, piston deposits, and oil derived low speed pre-ignition, while continuing to protect against turbocharger deposits, low-temperature gelling, rust corrosion, oil thickening, and foaming.
