Motorcraft's Super Duty 15W-40 is a diesel engine oil for Ford Power Stroke diesels and for other light- and heavy-duty diesels that call for this grade. It meets Ford WSS-M2C171-F1 and API CK-4, plus Cummins CES 20086, Detroit Diesel 93K222, Volvo VDS-4.5 and Mack EOS-4.5. Ford recommends it for the 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L and 6.7L Power Stroke above -7 °C (20 °F), so check the owner's manual for a lighter grade for colder starts.
Motorcraft® SAE 15W-40 Super Duty Diesel Motor Oil is a high-quality light and heavy-duty diesel engine oil recommended by Ford Motor Company. It is particularly recommended for use in Ford vehicles equipped with Power Stroke® Diesel engines, as well as in other diesel engine applications where the manufacturer recommends an oil of this viscosity grade and quality.
